Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family that included musicians. The music she grew up with was classic, old boleros along with classic romantic songs and the Ranchero style. Ana loves tangos, opera, and every form of dramatic performances. When she was 16 years old, she started singing and studying music with her mum. Flavio, a Mexican tenor of great renown began to provide her with more intense singing instruction. She continued her musical studies at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterwards to the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. The singer performed throughout Guadalajara, Mexico City and other cities as a young musician and student. In 2000, she relocated into the United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then, in 2007, she settled in her current home in Southern California. She sings as a soloist Latin American music for private events and also as part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. As a teacher and musician, she is committed to numerous community projects due to her enthusiasm and love for music. Ana was also a part of the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is presently a professor in the Performance Loft. Ana thanks Inland Master Chorale members for allowing her to perform classic Latin American song.
