MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His global success has seen his rise into the mainstream of Latin music. Una Lady Como Tu, his hit from 2016, won the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Favorite Song. The album he released as his debut ADN was released in 2017 by La Industria Inc., an Medellin-based Sony distribution company. On the Top Latin Albums chart, it reached No. 8. Vaina Loca is it was the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007 was the album that brought him into Ozuna. In 2020, he collaborated with Noriel on Mala Influencia and released the album Dopamina in the following year. Then in 2021 he sang the duet for the TINI streaming hit single Maldita Foto. An album release in 2023 featuring the mega-hit La Bachata. Turizo is a product of a family of musicians the mother of his younger brother and father have been musicians. In interviews, Turizo stated that music is a must. As a child was in school, he took guitar as well as the saxophone. At first, he wanted to become Veterinarian, however after his brother Julian encouraged him to take lessons with the help of a Cuban singer, he changed career plans.
